    I'm back!

After the hand-in, I'm back, though not sure if I can pass. Anyway, London -> Dubai ->Beijing -> Hong Kong ->Beijing -> Dubai -> London is a damn long journey. And this happened along with the very last part of my project - a 12k write-up. Unfortunately, I finished it in 4 days (apologies to my supervisor and second marker). But I have magically survived. As I will have a few days' spare time before the Europe trip, I will share photos I took with my brand-new shiny Canon EOS 40D :) Today is about Dubai

Dubai's fame is brought by its duty free shops and the Emirates Airline. The shops take up the whole first floor, and part of the second floor.

Dubai is an international city, everything is marked in both Arabic and English. Also you can find many Chinese girls working in the duty free shops as they can provide Mandarin service to Chinese passengers who change flights at Dubai, just like me:)

Although Dubai is full of rich people, the prices are quite low. A can of coca is 1 local currency, which is about 2 YUAN. However a decent Mac meal is $20!

In the airport, shops are full of buyers from all over the world and always busy.

Under the golden palm, you might find a good bargain.

Feeling lucky? You might take this home! I wonder who got the BMW 7 I saw last time.

Hand made Aladdin's lamps,  though these are miniatures.

Toy camels with lovely colours. Thanks to my 40D.

Last the painting I found in a corner. Quite good actually.
